----------------

    :alt: 2D SOURCE Tab.

The 2D SOURCE :ref:`tab<View Modes>` is where a single array is aimed and optimised. It is centred on the :ref:`Sideview<sideview>` and its two companion chart panels, which all follow the array selected in the :ref:`Source Manager<sourcemanager>`. It can be reached directly with **Ctrl/Cmd+3**.

This :ref:`tab<View Modes>` contains the following :ref:`Panels` in its default layout:
 * :ref:`Source Manager<sourcemanager>`: Select the array to work on by clicking its row; click the same row again to cycle through its sub-sources.
 * :ref:`Control Groups<controlgroups>`: Sources assigned to :ref:`Control Groups<controlgroups>` can have processing applied.
 * :ref:`Sideview<sideview>`: Aim the array by dragging its throw lines, lock angles for Auto-Splay and set the coverage window.
 * :ref:`SPL over Distance<sploverdistance>`: Plots SPL against distance along the audience for the selected array.
 * :ref:`Frequency Response<frequencyresponse>`: Plots the frequency response at points sampled along the audience for the selected array.

 Changes made to this :ref:`tab<View Modes>` will be restored next time it is selected, including the position of :ref:`Panels`, and those that have been :ref:`'popped out' into additional windows<discreet System Optimiser windows>`.
