Drawing a Venue

To get started drawing a venue in System Optimiser, navigate to the VENUE tab.

Drawing room geometry into the 3D View is achieved in two ways:

• Using Layers: The building blocks native to System Optimiser used to form audience areas and elements of scenery.

• Using the CODA Sketchup Plugin: Models created in Trimble Sketchup can be converted into Layers using this plugin. These Layers can then be further manipulated in System Optimiser.

Before you start drawing, check the Venue Database: another System Optimiser user may already have drawn the venue. Consider sharing your venue with all other users too!
